Rok Knip Mode april 2009

For my self to wear on Isabelle's birthday, I made a simple rok. Pattern is from Knip Mode April 2009, rok no. 10b, size 38, fabric: printed cotton. when I bought skirt form shop, it always size 36, to be safe this time I took size 38, turn out it was too big. I have to take down about 7 cm from the waist to fit me

Birthday dress (Gnome Girl)

This weekend Isabelle became 2 years old.... so I made a pinafore for her. I made it in size 92 considering that she's been in size 86 quite a long time. So I hope this dress won;t be too big for her. If it is too big, then it will be her christmas dress hehehehe


Pattern is from Ottobre winter no. 4/2008, dress no. 12 - Gnome girl. size 92, fabric, stripped denim. Flower emblissment is from cotton.

WR - Kukkopilli

I got this unflattering hand me down shirt, love the fabric but not the model. Such a waste to just throwing it away. So refashioning it is. This model came to mind, easy to make. And the best thing is, I don't have to make button hole my self. just use the ones that already there.... :D

So ta daaaaaaaa....

The shirt dress

After sometime, finally I got the shirt that I like to try for the shirt dress like on this tutorial http://www.dana-made-it.com/2008/07/tutorial-shirt-dress.html.
I use the idea but not use the same pattern. I use the pattern from ottobre blouse like this one, adding some length to make it as a dress.

I forgot to take "before" picture so i took picture of what's left instead.



As you can see, it's abit too long for Isabelle, and the waist also too far down. I need to put it about 2 or 3 cm up. Overall I'm happy with the result and I can't wait to make some more

Peasant blouse

First try with Mc call's M5050 peasant blouse. using cheap fabric on clearance. Turns out ok, definitely going to make some more with better fabric. Size S, fabric: wrinkled cotton
