From a hand me down, I take out the sleeves and collar. Put a basic A line dress pattern on it. The first plan is to make it with facing on the neck and sleeves, but there not enough fabric to work with. So I put biasband instead.
It is imposibble to get the original pattern of Roos 3019 anymore. Sometimes if you're lucky, you can find it on the marktplaats (Dutch local ebay site) but the price is so ridiculous. Luckily Ottobre has a pattern that look like 3019. It can be found at Ottobre 3/2009, Three-way dress no. 18, size 92. I made it with printed cotton.
Still using the idea from this website http://www.kukyideas.com/journal/2007/04/shirred-dress-tutorial.html. But instead of making the tube, I opted to shirred averything first the sew the sideseams. and I added the length to make it as a tunic instead of a blouse.
For the Orange party at Isabelle's pre-school, I made another shirred tunic. Made by using this tutorial http://www.kukyideas.com/journal/2007/04/shirred-dress-tutorial.html
Pattern from New Look no 6528, model B, size 3, fabric: wool cotton. The dress is slightly too big for Isabelle since the smalles size is for 3 years old. I just reduce it while sewing
